From artistic gymnastics to aerial and parkour, AcroSports offers fun and progressive classes for active children in ages 6 and up. Our classes develop a positive relationship with physical activity through personal accomplishment and cooperative group activity.
Highly skilled and athletic coaches tailor their classes to best meet the needs of every individual student. Their ability to implement sound curriculum while always incorporating safety allows us to send students home with heightened self-esteem and achievement of their goals.
Students new to AcroSports must enroll in an entry-level class. If your student has previous experience and is beyond a beginning level, please contact our office. Once enrolled, student evaluations occur during class to show students their progress and to ensure proper placement for the following session.
Strength & Conditioning
Students will be working on building the strength, coordination, and endurance specific to all of the disciplines we provide! This class is suitable for all skill levels.
Students will develop their strength, flexibility, and balance as part of the three fundamentals of handbalancing. This class works toward various solo hand and arm balances, including handstands. All levels welcome!
Our unique multi-disciplinary class incorporates gymnastics, circus, parkour, tumbling and clowning, allowing you to experience all we have to offer at AcroSports!
Gymnastics requires an incredible amount of physical and mental strength, power, and flexibility. Students receive progressive training on all events. Girls train on vault, bars, beam and floor. Each class is structured so that gymnasts learn and work on skills throughout the practice on each apparatus, while incorporating strength and flexibility as well. Gymnastics is the perfect activity to set children up for lifelong success in all movement and sports.

Tumbling combines the skills of artistic gymnastics with trampoline to create an impressive series of skills. Students receive training on the main gym floor, tumble strip, and tumble track.
Trampoline is a fun, exciting class for students ages 7 and up. Students learn basic jumps, drops, and saltos on the trampoline, while incorporating strength and flexibility throughout the practice. Spotting lines are available to use level skills.
exposes students to a mixture of tissu, hammock, static trapeze, rope (corde lisse), and lyra (aerial hoop). Through skill building students develop strength, control, and awareness as well as flexibility, grace, and fluidity in the air. (Tight clothing is required on legs: leggings or tights, as well as torso: leotards, tight shirts. No jewelry. Hair tied up.)
The art of acrobatic contortion combines the use of flexibility, muscle control, and fluid movement to create acrobatic maneuvers and balances.
Beginning students focus on stretching and breathing techniques, conditioning exercises and basic tricks. Coach evaluation is required.
Intermediate students continue their conditioning and skill training while learning to develop choreography and use their art to create innovative performances. Emphasis is placed on expanding students' strength, flexibility, and repertoire of upper-level tricks. Coach evaluation is required for higher level classes.
This class will introduce students to the history of Hip-Hop culture with basic moves for the novice dancer. The style encompasses the movements of breakdancing and body-popping with a concentration on footwork. The focus of this class is to build a solid foundation to execute popular dance moves to original choreography. Warm up includes isolations, hard-hitting exercises, and a breakdown of the highly energetic routine to build stamina and increase strength.
Parkour is the sport of using the body for uninterrupted, efficient forward motion over, under, around and through the environment. The goal is to adapt one's movement to any given obstacle through proper landing, running, jumping, climbing on, over and around obstacles as well as safe spotting and training. Students will learn how to safely perform basic parkour in our facility through the use of mats, proper coaching, and strength building so that they can take their skills outside on their own.
Our Youth Performance Program includes a variety of circus classes that focus on developing performance skills - including aerial, contortion, tumbling, partner acrobatics and clown. We believe that through performance, students receive positive reinforcement of their abilities, developing healthy self-esteem and a positive self image. Through circus training, we teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, focus, and persistence. Students in the Youth Performance Program will have opportunities to perform in our bi-annual in house shows
