AcroSports just keeps on growing! To keep up with our ever-expanding staffing needs, we have developed a NEW position and are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position detailed below:


Youth Program Manager Needed

The Youth Program Manager is a vital member of AcroSports’ Management Team, working
collaboratively with other program and administrative Managers to continue the development and
oversight of AcroSports and its programming.  AcroSports’ Youth Program engages an average of
500+ students each session and maintains a staff of approximately 25 coaches.


Primary Job Responsibilities:
I. Oversee recreational youth program of 500+ students in artistic gymnastics, tumbling, parkour,
breakdancing, circus, aerial and other physical arts, which includes (but is not limited to):  
- Coaching a set number of hours each week.
- Ensuring all Youth classes are properly staffed and managing emergency subs as they arise;
- Plan programming and rotation schedules in line with AcroSports’ Better vs. Bigger philosophy
- Ongoing development and oversight of curriculum and potential new program offerings;
- Organization of periodic student meets;
- Work closely with Performance Director on organizing Youth coaches in preparation for Youth
Student Showcases;
- Maintaining regular communication with/customer service for parents and students;
- Communicate regularly with coaches via a formal weekly program update email.
- Managing gymnastics and apparel inventory
II. Collaborate with the Site & Safety Manager in developing policies to promote safety awareness,
identifying safety training needs, and coordinate safety training programs and to ensure that safety-
related training records, accident reports, and other documents are completed and stored properly. 
III. Recruit, train, support, supervise, discipline, review and provide professional development
opportunities for a staff of approximately 25 coaches.
IV. Create annual program budget (approx $500K) in conjunction with the Executive Director, and
maintain ongoing responsibility for budget oversight.
V. Serve as a member of the Management Team, contributing to the continued growth and vitality of the organization, and collaborating with other Team members on various projects as they arise.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be highly experienced in coaching gymnastics, and knowledgeable in all aspects of
gymnastics skill progressions, equipment use & safety, and continued developments in the
sport.  Familiarity with USA Gymnastics guidelines preferred.
- Must have previous management & supervisory experience, as well as
the energy, self-motivation and problem-solving skills needed to proactively

manage a large program with minimal direct oversight.  
- Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, meet deadlines, prioritize and RE-prioritize if needed.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills a must; previous customer service experience
preferred.
- Must work well in a collaborative, dynamic & positive training environment, and possess
excellent interpersonal skills.
- Physical strength and ability needed to safely coach gymnastics, spot students of various
ages/sizes, and lift/move equipment and mats.
- Regularly available to attend weekly Managers’ meetings on Wednesday afternoons.
- Facility with MS Office (Word/Excel) needed.
- Previous experience with JackRabbit or other similar online class management software helpful.

- This is a FT (32-40 hrs/week, depending on candidate’s needs & skill-set) salaried, exempt
position beginning in March 2018, with hourly PT training beginning in February.
- Starting pay scale  $22.75-$26.00 per hour DOE

Preschool Gymnastics Coach needed!

We are a non-profit recreational gymnastics and urban circus arts facility whose mission is to serve the community through the physical arts.  The preschool program is our largest program and serves several hundred students per week.

 A part-time position is open starting immediately with training.  Hours are weekday/ weekend mornings and afternoons, 5 hours/week.   Further substitute hours will also be available on an ongoing basis as needed.

We are looking for an upbeat, enthusiastic, caring individual who has experience working with children under 6 and is familiar with gymnastics, dance, and other physical arts.  The job involves maintaining a safe, fun environment for learning, teaching fundamental gymnastics & social skills, and encouraging students' confidence and joy in physical feats.

Youth Gymnastics Coach needed!
 

We are a non-profit recreational gymnastics and urban circus arts facility whose mission is to serve the community through the physical arts.  The youth program serves almost a thousand students in classes offered 7 days a week.

 A part-time position is open starting immediately with training.  Hours are weekdays and weekends, 5-15 hours/week.   Further substitute hours will also be available on an ongoing basis as needed.

We are looking for an individual with experience in movement and coaching. Background and training in gymnastics, parkour, or other circus arts is preferred. The job involves teaching fundamental and progressive movement skills, supporting youth development and growth, and encouraging students' confidence and joy in physical feats.
