Thank you for all the coaches who have had their classes take part in the July Monthly Challenge. Our students had a blast. Our challenge for August is: drumroll please! How many revolutions can you do in 2 minutes with a Hula Hoop? Please set aside a few minutes in class (it can be during the warm-up) and encourage students to participate. Have fun with it! You can use any part of your body for the revolutions. Arms, waist, ankle, neck, etc

Just a reminder that all Adult Classes will be running during the Youth Interim break from August 20 - September 3. When I Work has been updated and published through the end of August. If you can not make your regularly scheduled shift be sure to find an appropriate sub. 

 

Your Spring coaching availability questionnaire MUST be filled out by Monday 7/30. Please note, if you do not fill this out there is a possibility you may not be scheduled to work.

Don't forget to participate in the Monthly Challenge this month with your classes! The Monthly Challenge is how many jump rope jumps you can complete in just one minute. Be sure to document everyone's best score on the Monthly Challenge whiteboard! The #1 score among non-staff participants will earn a prize.

Next weekend, AcroSports will be participating in the San Francisco Pride Parade. We would love to have our coaches and students participate in our FIRST SF PRIDE Parade Contingent on 6/24!

AERIAL COACHES: (this is for both youth and adult) Remember to check for zippers and jewelry on students (and coaches) before every aerial class. There is a roll of athletic tape, on the hook with the span sets, to be used to cover zippers.

Anyone interested in being on the Saturday rotation for our Special Needs Open Gym please email rachel@acrosports.org. The Open Gym runs from 1:30-3:00 and you get paid for 2 full hours.

Adult Staff and Student Cabaret this Friday and Saturday

Please be aware that we have a lot of adult students performing in our upcoming Cabaret THIS Friday and Saturday. If you have any performing students in any of your classes it would be nice to wish them luck or tell them how excited you are to see them perform. We also ask that you encourage other adult students to come support their peers and other coaches as they perform.
