From artistic gymnastics to aerial and parkour, AcroSports offers fun and progressive classes for active children in ages 6 and up. Our classes develop a positive relationship with physical activity through personal accomplishment and cooperative group activity.
Highly skilled and athletic coaches tailor their classes to best meet the needs of every individual student. Their ability to implement sound curriculum while always incorporating safety allows us to send students home with heightened self-esteem and achievement of their goals.
Students new to AcroSports must enroll in a Level 1 or Beginning class. If your student is beyond a beginning level and has previous experience, please contact the Youth Program Manager. All student evaluations are scheduled at the end of every other session to ensure proper class placement.

Ages 5+ Gymnastics requires an incredible amount of physical and mental strength, power, and flexibility. Students receive progressive training on all events. Girls train on vault, bars, beam and floor. Each class is structured so that gymnasts learn and work on skills throughout the practice on each apparatus, while incorporating strength and flexibility as well. Gymnastics is the perfect activity to set children up for lifelong success in all movement and sports.

Boys train on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault and parallel bars.Each class is structured so that gymnasts learn and work on skills throughout the practice, while incorporating strength and flexibility as well. Tumbling & Trampoline
Tumbling combines the skills of artistic gymnastics with trampoline to create an impressive series of skills. Students receive training on the main gym floor, tumble strip, and tumble track.
Trampoline is a fun, exciting class for students ages 7 and up. Students learn basic jumps, drops, and saltos on the trampoline, while incorporating strength and flexibility throughout the practice. Spotting lines are available to use level skills.
AcroSports Circus Arts classes incorporate many performing art forms used in circus. Classes focus on developing the physical skills, strength, and flexibility as well as the creative expression needed as circus performers. Intermediate students follow a progressive curriculum that combines specialty training, theater, and acrobatics to help them to prepare for performance, or entrance in the AcroSports' City Circus performance troupe.
Tier 1 (Beginning) 7+ exposes students to a mixture of tissu, hammock, static trapeze, rope (corde lisse), and lyra (aerial hoop). Through skill building students develop strength, control, and awareness as well as flexibility, grace, and fluidity in the air. (Tight clothing is required on legs: leggings or tights, as well as torso: leotards, tight shirts. No jewelry. Hair tied up.)
Tier 2 (Intermediate) Evaluation Required exposes students to a mixture of tissu, hammock, static trapeze, rope (corde lisse), and lyra (aerial hoop). Students learn progressions of moves in the air, as well as more difficult moves and drops. (Tight clothing is required on legs: leggings or tights, as well as torso: leotards, tight shirts. No jewelry. Hair tied up.)
Tier 3/4 (Advanced) Evaluation Required exposes students to a mixture of tissu, hammock, static trapeze, rope (corde lisse), and lyra (aerial hoop). Students progress into advanced aerial moves and sequences. Students learn full routines, higher level drops, as well as an introduction to partner aerial. (Tight clothing is required on legs: leggings or tights, as well as torso: leotards, tight shirts. No jewelry. Hair tied up.)
Ages 6+ The art of acrobatic contortion combines the use of flexibility, muscle control, and fluid movement to create acrobatic maneuvers and balances.
Beginning students focus on stretching and breathing techniques, conditioning exercises and basic tricks. Coach evaluation is required.
Intermediate students continue their conditioning and skill training while learning to develop choreography and use their art to create innovative performances. Emphasis is placed on expanding students' strength, flexibility, and repertoire of upper-level tricks. Coach evaluation is required for higher level classes.
AcroLab & CircusLab Acrolab is an introductory course on tumbling, creative movement and performance. Students will be guided through weekly themes like balance, character development, and dance. Students will learn basic floor tumbling like cartwheels and rolls, with an emphasis on choreography and team work. Students will learn synchronized floor tumbling, trick jump rope, hula-hooping, juggling, and partner acrobatics. We'll teach them the beginning of dance, and how to work as a team as they learn exciting new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Creativity is embraced is this physically challenging course as children learn how to own a stage and tell a story through movement. Sign up for the session or drop-into a class.
Physical Comedy and Clown
Join us as we explore the ancient and universal art of theatrical clown and discover how to be profoundly funny! Through imagination, play, and physical comedy, we will learn how to evoke laughter and tears from our audience through our own ridiculously silly failures. This class incorporates, games, acrobatics, storytelling, and slapstick to help you develop comic timing, performance skills, and your very own unique clown character.
Ages 6+ This class introduces the fundamentals of breakdancing: freezes and power moves.
Ages 7+ Parkour is the sport of using the body for uninterrupted, efficient forward motion over, under, around and through the environment. The goal is to adapt one's movement to any given obstacle through proper landing, running, jumping, climbing on, over and around obstacles as well as safe spotting and training. Students will learn how to safely perform basic parkour in our facility through the use of mats, proper coaching, and strength building so that they can take their skills outside on their own.
Urban Contemporary Dance
Ages 7+ In a dance class for all levels influenced by yoga, gymnastics, contemporary dance, hip hop, West African, and capoeira, Emily builds students' strength, physicality, rhythmic motion, and conditions through exploring floor work, weight shifts, inversions, and more.
Ages 7+ An intro class for students interested in the world of action sports. Skills taught include gymnastics, forward motion and lateral moves. Strong emphasis on safety, balance, aerial awareness and skill progression. No prerequisites.
Intro to Acro for Students with Special Needs
Intro to Acro introduces students to basic gymnastics and tumbling skills and focuses on strength, flexibility, coordination, and class preparedness. There are two classes; one for ages 5-9, and another for ages 10-14. If you would like to discuss enrolling your child in other classes, please contact Program Manager, Tonya White.
