Tuition Assistance
AcroSports offers tuition assistance to families who qualify to help offset tuition fees for children's regular session classes ad camps (Tuition Assistance is not available for adult students). Depending on funding availability, which may vary from session to session, and where your family income falls on the sliding scale, this assistance can range from 10-50% off the total tuition. Tuition Assistance can not be applied towards Registration & Insurance Fees.
In order to apply, please refer to the Tuition Assistance Application Instructions and complete the one-page Tuition Assistance Application. Both the Application and Instructions are also available in the AcroSports office. The completed Application with supporting documentation and a $25 deposit will hold your child's space in the class; once the amount of your assistance has been determined, you will be contaced about the adjusted balance due.
Applicants enrolling in a preschool class through the on-line registration system should complete this process first, choosing the "pay in person" option when you reach the payment phase of the process. This will temporarily hold the child's spot in the class; applicants then need only submit a completed Tuition Assistance Application, supporting documentation & $25 deposit within three days of the on-line registration process.
We generally do not offer Tuition Assistance to applicants who plan to have a third party social service agency, such as Children's Council or Talkline, pay the balance of tuition for them. In order to make our limited assistance available to as many students as possible, we ask that those families who have access to financial assistance for our programs through such social service agencies refrain from applying for Tuition Assistance at AcroSports; that way, we can make more available to other students who do not have these resources available.
PLEASE NOTE that there are application deadlines for each session, usually falling shortly before the start date of the session. Check our Calendar for specific dates. |
