Specialty Camp

Parkour Camp

 Week 3 (6/20-24) & Week 6 (7/11-15)

  • Coach Elijah.
  •  Students will focus on efficient and fluid movement over, under, around and through obstacles. They will learn proper landing, running, climbing and jumping techniques while developing their spotting abilities. Campers will develop an original act for our weekly show.
  •  Must have taken parkour classes at AcroSports within the past 12 months.
  •  Week 3 for ages 6-8, Week 6 for ages 9-12

Aerial

Week 2 (6/13-17) & Week 4 (6/27-7/1)

  • Coach Ashe & Alexa.
  • Students will use aerial fabric, static trapeze, and aerial rope to develop strength, flexibility, and confidence. Campers will develop an original act to perform in the weekly show.
  • All levels welcome. Must have studied aerial within the past 12 months.
  • Week 2 for ages 7-9, Week 4 for ages 9-12.

Gymnastics Levels 1 & 2

Week 10 (8/8-12)

  •  Coach Melissa.
  •  Students will receive progressive training on traditional Artistic Gymnastics events including vault, bars, beam and floor. Campers will create an original act for our weekly show.
  • Current registration in a Level 1 or 2 class is required.
  • Ages 6-12

Tumbling Camp

Week 7 (7/18-22)

  • Coach Anthony.
  • Students will train in progressive tumbling skills including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round offs and more. Campers will create an original act for our weekly show.
  • Must currently be learning a curriculum that involves tumbling or have studied a relevant curriculum within the past year.
  •  Ages 6 and up.

Gymnastics Levels 3 & 4

Week 11 (8/15-19)

  •  Coaches Molly and Alexa.
  •  Students will receive progressive training on traditional Artistic Gymnastics events including vault, bars, beam and floor. Campers will create an original act for our weekly show.
  • Current registration in a Level 3 or 4 class is required.
  • Ages 8-12

 

Clowning and Performance for Circus

Week 8 (7/25-29) 

  • Coach Hannah.
  • Students will develop their circus performance chops through this introduction to the silly, childlike world of clowning. After a week of studying funny slapstick routines, partner acrobatics, stilts, juggling, mask-making, and more, students will develop their very own unique clown character and original circus act for our weekly show. No experience required.
  • All levels welcome.
  • Week 8 for ages 6-9
