Adult Program

AcroSports isn't just for kids! Adult programs have been included on the AcroSports class schedule virtually from the beginning, and the past few years have seen the number of adult students in the gym expand considerably.
Adult classes and seasonal offerings are available by enrollment every session. Dropins into classes are possible, however they must be scheduled and prepaid in advance, in classes which have space available. Classes which are full may be dropped into on a stand-by basis (if there is an absence in the class a dropin student may join), however priority is given to enrolled students dropping in as a make-up. All drop-ins and make-ups must be scheduled in advance through the office (665-2276)

Capoeira
Brazilian art combining martial arts, dance, and acrobatics.
Capoeira Cards are available in four-class and eight-class cards and can be purchased in the office. Please note: Capoeira Cards expire after 90 days. |
Tumbling
Beginning Tumbling focuses on fundamental skills including: rolls, cartwheels, roundoffs and handsprings - as well as basic stretching and conditioning techniques.
The intermediate class is designed to help more experienced tumblers achieve higher-level skills such as back/front tuck and skill combinations like: roundoff back handspring, roundoff back handspring back tuck and more!
Coach approval is required for entrance into intermediate level. |
Parkour
Parkour is a physical discipline inspired by human movement. It focuses on interrupted, efficient forward motion over, under, around and through obstacles in one's environment. The goal of parkour is to adapt one's movement to any given obstacle in one's path. Learn basics of proper landing, running, jumping, climbing on, over and around obstacles, and safe spotting and training techniques. |
Break Dancing
Beginning and advanced level students alike will learn the fundamentals of break dancing: popping, locking, freezes, and power moves. |
Stretching
A class designed to help adult students improve flexibility, range of motion, body alignment and control. |
Board Sports
Develops acrobatics strength, flexibility and skills necessary to do flips and grabs on skis and snow/wake boards. Includes work on fastrak and trampoline with spotting belt.

Aerial Arts
This class introduces students to a variety of aerial apparatus including static trapeze and aerial rope and tissue. Students will focus on developing strength, control, and awareness as well as flexibility, grace, and a basic trick vocabulary. |
Extreme Conditioning
This class offers adults of all skill levels an intense total body workout using gymnastics equipment as well as the student's own body weight. The workout is balanced to help students maintain flexibility while improving strength and muscle tone throughout the body.

Trampoline
Practice your tumbling skills, improve body awareness and control or just have fun on this exhilarating apparatus! |
